I recently purchased a BHP MK II Serial Number 245PV*****, and bought a Olympic Arms pre-fit barrel from Brownells for $123.00. I took it out to the range and was getting 1.75-2.0"@20yds. I was wanting to know if anyone out there is getting these same results with the Olympic Arms barrel. I also replaced all the springs with a service pack from Wolf Springs.

I'll let you know. I came across an old frame, a new slide, and added one of these barrels. I have to fit my bottom lug. I'm actually impressed with the quality of the barrel though.

I just put in a Olympic Arms Barrel in my hi power . i have not had the chance to take it to the range yet. but have fired a few mags off my back porch at a frozen pumkin. its about 25 30 yards and was getting good hits with it . i really like the fit to my gun . it fell in kinda tight but just a few stroke's of a file and its perfect. i'll let you know how it does once this snow lets me back to the range

I have not had the chance to work on this particular gun. As soon as I get it done, I'll post the results. Unfortunately, I have the whole thing apart at the moment, as the frame is getting stippled in my bench today. I'll fit that lug later this afternoon after the stippling, screaming children permitting. If I get all that done, I'll shoot it Saturday.

So, here's my fun experience. I fit the lower lug to the large cam on my WWII frame. Problem is this. The bottom of the chamber area has an approximate 45 degree cut that corresponds to the barrel bed area of the frame. It's way oversized on my particular barrel. It's more than one can just file off by hand. I've been at it for a couple hours, and that's just one side.

Perhaps I have no patience. I'm going to do the rest on a milling machine. This barrel will not fit in any of my other Hi-Powers, to include several Brownings, and FNMI, and a FEG. I got this barrel through Brownells fairly recently. I would not recommend it for a home install. Luckily I have access to a full service gunsmithing shop of a friend.

Still, I'll advise on the accuracy of the gun once I get the barrel done. I simply bought it because it was cheap. If I knoew I had to do this much fitting, I would have bought a Bar-Sto.
